Suppliers were continuously assessed on, among other things:

  • Product quality
  • Environmental performance

Across the organisation, continued emphasis is placed on ensuring that "Employees are encouraged to vary their working posture throughout the working day."

The company continues to invest in office furniture and ergonomic workplace equipment to provide employees with the best possible working conditions and promote job satisfaction.

Within production, employees rotate between different work functions to minimise repetitive work.

During 2025, additional initiatives promoting employee well-being and physical activity were implemented at both the Fjerritslev and Aabybro facilities. These initiatives were organised by the Occupational Health and Safety Organisation in cooperation with the Joint Consultation Committee (SU).

Near misses are registered in Migatronic A/S's internal reporting system and are investigated as quickly as possible to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Results
A large proportion of Migatronic A/S employees take advantage of the opportunity to either do workplace exercises or walk around the factory in Fjerritslev once a day—in all kinds of weather. The fresh air contributes positively to employee well-being and job satisfaction.

In 2025, six near-miss incidents were recorded.

In 2025, one occupational accident occurred. Occupational accidents are investigated and managed in accordance with the company's internal procedures to minimise the risk of similar incidents occurring in the future.

Mandatory workplace risk assessments (APVs) continued at both the Fjerritslev and Aabybro facilities throughout 2025, and comprehensive APVs were completed for both locations. During the year, the Occupational Health and Safety Committees actively followed up on the workplace assessments.

The Occupational Health and Safety Committees and the Joint Consultation Committees (SU) in Fjerritslev and Aabybro hold an annual joint meeting to strengthen cooperation between the two workplaces.

The company continues the tradition of hosting joint summer and Christmas events for employees in Fjerritslev and Aabybro. More generally, Migatronic A/S has a well-functioning and active employee association.

4. SOCIAL MATTERS

Policy
Since the establishment of Migatronic A/S in 1970, social responsibility has formed a natural part of the company's core values.

We recognise that our headquarters in Fjerritslev and our Automation Division in Aabybro play a significant role in the local community. This carries considerable social responsibility, which we proudly embrace in close cooperation with Jammerbugt Municipality.

Migatronic A/S's policy in this area is to contribute to helping as many people as possible clarify and improve their employment opportunities within the framework of our organisation.

Aktivities
Work Placement Programme
Migatronic A/S has maintained a formal partnership with Jammerbugt Municipality since 2000 through an initiative known internally as the Work Placement Programme.

It is important for Migatronic A/S to demonstrate social commitment within the local community by accepting social responsibility through work assessment programmes for people who, due to health-related or social circumstances, are outside the labour market.

The purpose of the programme is to serve as a stepping stone towards part-time employment, full-time employment, flexible employment (flex jobs), or clarification for eligibility for disability pension for people who would otherwise have limited opportunities to obtain employment.

During 2025, Migatronic A/S maintained its expanded internship programme. Throughout the year, interns worked in several departments, including the canteen and production, benefiting both the individual participants and Migatronic A/S.

Migatronic A/S provides the physical facilities and appoints mentors for the programme. Progress is monitored continuously in cooperation with Jammerbugt Municipality.

Each participant's progress is reviewed approximately every four weeks.

The work assessment programme includes a wide variety of practical tasks, including:

  • Packing blister packages
  • Production assistance
  • Waste sorting for recycling
  • Maintenance of buildings and outdoor areas
  • Assistance with food preparation and kitchen cleaning

Aalborg University
For several years, Migatronic A/S has maintained a constructive and successful partnership with Aalborg University.
This collaboration continued at its usual level throughout 2025.

Among other activities, two tenth-semester students from the Master's programme in Product and Design Psychology completed a project entitled:

"Omega Yard - Analysis of User Scenarios and User Profiles."

Results
Apprentices and Interns
During the year, Migatronic A/S employed several apprentices and trainees and welcomed a number of interns.

One of the two Product and Design Psychology students who completed the university project in collaboration with Migatronic was subsequently employed in the company's Product Management Team.

Education & Training
During 2025, we continued to invest in education and training for production employees.

Training activities included:

  • Mentor training
  • Production automation
  • On-the-job training alongside experienced colleagues

A number of our managers and middle managers also commenced further education and professional development programmes.

Risks
All individuals who participate in the Internship Workshop at Migatronic A/S undergo an individual work capability assessment conducted on a professional basis.

However, there is a risk that an individual's work capacity may be assessed as either lower or higher than their actual capabilities.

An inaccurate assessment may result in the individual not progressing appropriately in his or her future working life.

2026
The successful collaboration with Aalborg University will continue. Among other initiatives, we have high expectations for a major joint project with the University focusing on shipbuilding.

Our ambition for 2026 is to welcome even more apprentices, trainees, and interns while, as a minimum, maintaining our current level of activity.

Education and training programmes for employees in production will continue.

At the same time, we will continue the further professional development of management across the organisation.

5. ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLIMATE MATTERS

Policy
Migatronic A/S complies with all applicable environmental and climate legislation and continuously strives to implement improvements that have a positive impact on the environment and the climate by integrating sustainability throughout the entire value chain.

This includes, among other initiatives, continuously developing and improving our products, optimising production processes and logistics - including energy consumption - and focusing on the environmentally responsible disposal and recycling of our products.

Aktivities
Migatronic A/S complies with the RoHS Directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), which aims to limit the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. In practice, this includes the use of lead-free soldering processes in our production.

Migatronic A/S also complies with the WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), which requires us to ensure the environmentally sound disposal and recycling of electrical and electronic products in order to minimise the environmental impact of electronic waste.

Migatronic A/S works systematically to separate and recycle waste, including both electronic waste and metal scrap.

Migatronic has no production processes that can be classified as environmentally damaging.

Over the years, Migatronic has continuously invested in environmentally friendly production processes.

All production facilities have obtained the environmental approvals required by the relevant public authorities, and the Group is not involved in any environmental litigation or environmental enforcement cases.

The Migatronic Group is not involved in any environmental proceedings.

We are certified in accordance with ISO 14001, which means that we have implemented systematic processes for managing environmental aspects, ensuring compliance with applicable environmental legislation, improving environmental performance through efficient use of resources, and reducing waste.

Results
We have implemented waste segregation for all waste streams, including electronic waste and metal scrap.

All scrap materials and production waste are sent for recycling.

As in previous years, Migatronic A/S is not classified as an environmentally hazardous enterprise.

Risks
Environmental and climate-related risks are associated with both the production and use of welding machines.

Examples include accidental releases of chemicals during production processes or excessive CO₂ emissions resulting from inefficient operation of production equipment.

Furthermore, the use of welding machines and the improper disposal of electronic waste at the end of a product's life cycle may present environmental risks.

2026
Throughout 2026, we will continue to maintain a strong focus on integrating ESG principles throughout the organisation.
