Extension of the Pi family

For many years, the Migatronic Pi range has towered above the MMA and TIG welding machines and been the obvious choice for factories and workshops. That is why the Pi range is extended by new Pi 350 DC machines in both aircooled and watercooled versions. There are three optional control panels for the new Pi 350 DC machines: a TIG H panel, high frequency without pulse, a TIG HP panel, high frequency with pulse, and an MMA panel.

Pi 350 is a powerful machine; physically smaller than Pi 320, 400 and 500, the other members of the Pi family, but the current range is up to 350 A.

The two new Pi 350 TIG machines feature TIG-A-Tack™, a new function which is used for tack-welding stainless steel materials before finishing the welding. Just one push on a button activates the tack-welding function. In addition, the new Pi 350 DC HP has built-in Synergy Plus. IGC® Intelligent Gas Control and Dialog torch, the other intelligent functions characterizing Migatronic’s welding machines, can be purchased for both the HP and H models.

Environmental protection is a must. That is why standby functions and reduced power consumption are obvious properties also in this new range. The green approach, however, will not compromise the power and high duty cycle of the Pi 350, and a constantly high output is important. And finally, the machine must be easy to operate according to the philosophy: ”Switch on, press and weld”.
