Europe is definitely our principal market, but in a number of other markets of vital interest Migatronic co-operates with importers and dealers.
The world market for welding machines is estimated to be larger than DKK 10 billion – Migatronic’s share of which is 3%.
Back in 1972 – two years after the establishment – Migatronic exported its first welding machine, and the number of machines exported has long ago passed 300,000.
For many years the export share has been approx. 65%, and the countries pinned on Migatronic’s map of the world are innumerable.
Migatronic is very particular in its choice of co-operation partners in the countries where it is not represented by own sales companies - and Migatronic attaches great importance to having a partner with a qualified service network. Growth in new markets outside Europe is not an objective in itself.
