Historical development 1990-1999

1991 Migatronic becomes the first welding machine manufacturer in the EU to be accredited to the International Standard ISO 9001, whereas our subsidiary in the UK is accredited to the Standard ISO 9002. Establishment of Italian subsidiary. Production facilities are enlarged again - this time by 9,000 square metres.

1992 Establishment of another four subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Norway and Sweden.

|
|
1993 Introduction of a new series of modular constructed welding machines with the now patented Dynamic Oxide Control system (D.O.C.). At this time, more than 250,000 machines have been exported.

|
|
1995 In the year of our Silver Jubilee, Migatronic employs about 450 people, produces approx. 16,000 machines, has a turnover of approx. 325 mio. DKK, and resides over more than 25,000 square meter buildings.

|
|
1996 The new portable inverter series PILOT 1600/2400 is introduced at Metal 96' in Fredericia.

|
|
1997 Migatronic establishes a new subsidiary, Greenweld, in Milan, and for the 6th time we participate in the Schweissen & Schneiden in Essen with a stand of 216 m².

|
1998 During spring we introduce two new welding machines: KMX and BDH Puls Sync, and later this year we establish a subsidiary in Holland.

|
|
1999For the first time ever Migatronic organizes the "Danish Welding Championship" with a final competition at the HI Exhibition in Herning, Denmark. Finalists were the 23 champions found during the introductory competitions held in various places in Denmark.
At the HI Exhibition Migatronic introduces its FLEX whose multi process power source technology is used in all future welding machines.
October 1999 sees the end of welding jobs at the Øresund elevated bridge. Since January 1998 a total of 20 Migatronic welding machines have been in use seven days a week. According to Sundlink Contractor they never needed a backup machine and the error percentage in weldings was between 0.35 and 0.45.
